"Lookit Me", a Limited Edition giclée print was recently donated to a fundraising event at Coolwater Christian Church, Scottsdale, AZ to benefit StreetLightUSA, which is a safe house facility for victims of child trafficking (located in Phoenix, AZ). I am asked so often to donate my paintings, that I must be selective and choose just how often I can make a donation. This painting seemed so appropriate for StreetLightUSA that I knew it was a priority. Shouldn't childhood be a time of happy innocence? 

Students had prepared their images on the rice paper before this class session. So everyone was ready to learn how to apply the wax as a resist while painting their image. You can see how focused everyone was on their work and by the end of the day, they were excited with their new paintings- so beautiful!
