Yesterday, June 23rd was opening day at the Red Rock Lavender Festival in Concho, AZ. This was the 5th year that I have been invited to be a guest presenter, with a watercolor demo for the visitors.  This year about 25 folks watched the demo followed by a small group class of 12. We painted on the new Aquabord and the students were able to take home their 5x7 paintings. Everyone had a good time - me too!

All those demos have turned into a variety of paintings of lavender which are now also available as notecards as well as prints and tiles. You will find them here on the website and in the gift shop at the lavender farm. Soon, my newest painting with the Arizona Swallowtail and lavender blossoms will be here as well.
