When a request for notecards for the Lenten Season was sent through to me, I engaged the client in a discussion regarding her interpretation for such a painting.  Living in the Arizona desert and enjoying the challenge of painting skies, I went to work in my studio. The result is this small watercolor, Awaiting Penitence, 6"x8". Both my client and I were happy with the results!
